Microneedling with PRF
Taking Microneedling to the next level with PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin)
- Microneedling with PRF is a minimally invasive procedure for facial rejuvenation. It involves applying the patient's platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) to the skin and puncturing the skin with fine needles. The needling creates tiny injuries that stimulate skin renewal while the PRF speeds up recovery.
- While microneedling is a highly effective treatment on its own, we can make it even more powerful by applying PRF directly afterward.
- PRF works in a similar way as platelet-rich plasma (PRP). With both treatments, we take an extremely small sample of blood from you and separate its components in a centrifuge. With PRF, we arrive at a concentrated fibrin solution. When we apply it to your skin after microneedling, this potent solution can penetrate into the deeper layers of your skin through the channels the microneedling created.
- PRF derives its effectiveness from a rich concentration of fibrin in plasma that calls forth your growth factors. This is achieved through a slower centrifuge spin that is less damaging to your cells than when PRP is created. In our experience, bruising is less with PRF as no anticoagulants are involved in creating the plasma unlike the process of creating PRP. The treatment simulates what happens when you get hurt, your body naturally directs these growth factors to the injury to support your body’s regenerative processes. By delivering the PRF right after microneedling, we stimulate and support your body’s ability to make new, healthy, beautiful skin.

Light Chemical Peel
Skinbetter Science Professional Peel
- The AlphaRet Professional Peel is a highly tolerated procedure designed for mild photo damage, inflammation, and acne. The patented AlphaRet technology contains a proprietary blend of lactic, glycolic, and salicylic offered at 30% or 50% potency. This is a perfect lunch-time peel to have glowing skin for an event or a weekend out. Typically, three treatments spaced two weeks apart are needed to achieve optimal results.
- What to expect during each treatment session?
- A mild prickle sensation for approximately two to three minutes before the peel is wash off with water. Followed by the procedure, a variety of medical grade skin nourishing products will be massaged gentling onto the patients face to enhance skin tone.
- Are there any side effects?
- Minimal to no side effects are expected. Patients can expect the possibility of mildly exfoliating dead skin cells over a few days after the procedure. Patients can also expect dryness after the AlphaRet Professional Peel. We recommend completing an at-home medical grade skin care regimen to combat signs of dryness as well as enhance the outcome of the AlphaRet Professional Peel.
